Application.
 The
method of centrifugal atomization of a
melt for production of powders and shot
with different variations of process is
widely used: atomization from the disk,
cup or punched cup, atomization of rotating
electrode by an arc (REP) or plasma (PREP).
For such plant creation of it is necessary
to know design parameters of plant (diameters
of disk and nozzles), technological mode
of process of atomization (speed of rotation,
melt flow rate etc.) and powder parameters
(mean size, output of fractions, standard
deviation).
The program in the convenient form allows
to determine the indicated magnitudes.
Calculation basis.
The physical ratio is used in the program
for calculations. It is checked by significant
practical experiences and recognized by
many reseachers and developers. The authors
of the program have developed some functional
dependence for calculation of powder parameters
under transient of atomization modes.
Model Tests.
The results of calculations agreed to significant
experimental data obtained from the literature
and own researches of the authors. The
error of calculations does not exceed
on the average 5-10 %.
Practical verification.
The predictions of the programhave been
tested both using test equipment of Netramm
and full scale industrial enterprices.
